outing..shh..
This is kinda late, but i have to tell our story!! our=friends and i...so yeah, anyways, we have been in INTI for a year now, well i have. And i have never, i mean NEVER, been outside college. Not outside, as in right outside, but outside being well, kl. We've always been the bunch of people hanging round college and doing nothing but just that. So we thought, hey lets do something different for once you know. Lets go...clubbing. And we did just that. It was like 8 of us, shaun did not wanna go at first, but as usual, under the "influence of peer pressure", the dude gave in. Being short on cash as always, we made it to MOS before 10 hoping to pay the minimum cover charge. Turns out, there was no such thing. It was before 9.30 that the discounted rates applied. So whatever right. We're in the line, right at the entrance, and the check in chic checks our ic's. Then she goes, "Tatvaruban and Mahendrah, come here please". And she goes on to tell us that the admission was based on the dob not year. While the rest got in, we waited outside, for like an hour. Then we got our friends ic's and got in. So was it worth the turning us away dumbass lady?? Anyways, the music that night was ok. Oh and yeah, thrusdays are suppose to be ladies night. We got, a dude fest. They were like bloody vultures circling their prey. Every girl was taken. Talk about shitty luck. Whatever though, it was our first time in MOS anyways. No more clubbing for now though. Well, at least 2 months.

Random..
Ok, its been quite some time since i last posted anything. Been really busy doing...nothing. I just had a week's break. Oh i had plans, major ones! Then came that dreadful thrusday before the hols, it was during futsal. You know how people kick the ground in anger, then curse themselves for being stupid, well, i kinda did the same thing. Unintentionally though. It was all part of them game. I was trying to chip the ball and somehow i...kicked the ground. To all you funny people, i was not trying to break cement! Like i said, all in the game. Anyways, its better now. No more hopping around on one foot, but i'd give it a couple of months before i start kicking the ball(not ground!) again. That injury kinda limited my plans during the holidays. Still went house hopping though. It was really good catching up with old mates, oh and gambling! I mean, its tradition. No one messes with tradition. Sides, ang pows are good. Oh and for those of you who dont know, i live on dota right now. Well, almost. It is a time-consuming, sleep-depriving game! And I am going to delete it!..... Some distant time in the future. Anyways, i'm back in college now. Gonna clean up the room a bit. Then i'll get down to studying, maybe, after a game of dota.=p Routine college life, here i come!

The Holidays
Its almost over now. Never thought it would be this quick. Yeah, sure i knew it would be over sooner than i expected but this quick??.wow. Well, it has been kinda eventful. Loads of movies as you might've guessed by the earlier post, football, and yeah outings. The best part of it all was catching up with those people whom you dont often see. I met up with a couple of my secondary schoolmates. We talked, and talked and talked..On one occasion, i came home round 2, and that got my dad pissed. Well, it was my fault really. I didnt actually inform them earlier, but hey i tried. I did send a message and called, but they didnt get it. I am suppose to be grounded today. I am planning to go for the christmas countdown at the Portugese Settlement, dad initially said no, but as usual gave in. So its all good. Anyways, i hope all of you are having loads of fun this hols. K, i'm gonna end it here. Countdown awaits.=p

Driving Nightmare..
Yeah, i was excited. I mean, it was my first lesson. The instructor came round 9. He kept giving me instructions on the way to the circuit. Or at least that's what i thought. We were like, 2 minutes away from the school when he pulled over by the roadside and got out, and told me to take the wheel. ME!! Heck, i had only ever been to the circuit once, what more the road. I was calm though, knowing that it would be over in like a mintue or two. I mean, the school was just a minute away after all. Everything was going well as we approached the school, till he said, 'pergi terus!'. Now that's where i got really scared. Shit scared. So i'm here thinking to myself, 'i'm too young to die!' and i look at him, and he's smiling..SMILING!!.You know those stories you hear where a person sees he's life flashing before his eyes, i had that! Literally! Cars were all over i tell you, and it seemed i was going to crash into one of them anytime. I drove for like 40 minutes before we headed back to the school. Practiced a bit on the circuit and i was good to go. I had never felt more grateful to get back home. Its all going to happen again though..Monday, 3 pm..

Movies Galore!!!
I think i'll be putting up more posts now seeing as it is the holidays...And i spent the first week of it with movies! Loads of em!! At the cinema, and at home with our trusted brand of pirate products. I thought, hey it would be a great idea to come up with my very own movie review. So here goes....Quarantine: Does provide the typical scare that people often look for in horror films. The kind that makes you jump out of your seat screaming. So yeah, its good. The whole movie is shot in real-time, as in using a video recorder. It's basically about people becoming infected with rabies and turning into flesh eating animals. Gory killings, decapitated bodies and loads, i mean LOADS of blood dominate most of the movie, giving it an 'A' rating. Twilight: After all the anticipation, i have to say, the movie did not deliver. It was slow and painful. While it would be a good movie for romantics to enjoy, the average movie lover, would despise it. The lack of good action scenes(mind you, there was only a very brief one), makes this movie simply, boring. It deserves a 'D'. Varanam Aiyaram, my very first tamil movie in a theatre: It was good, really good. Diverging away from the typical tamil movie stigma of fighting and lovers running around trees, the movie focuses on a father-son relationship played by the same person. Good script and genuine acting makes this movie an enjoyable one. Happy watching!!

Dengue....
Just when i thought i had gotten away. Reality yanks me back in. Sigh, latest victim to dengue=me! Yes, i was down with fever, then again, i often fall sick so this was nothing new. Yes, i was shivering and my head felt like Hiroshima, then again, i was used to this. Then came the verdict i feared the most, i had DENGUE!! It all started on a Friday evening like any other. Well, except for the fact that i was shivering eventhough the fan was at speed 2 and i was under my blanket!! I made my way down from block N and dragged myself to Shiva's room in block K. I needed that sweater!! Desperately!! Soon everyone was up and i was made to sleep with the help of 2 Panadols. According to them, i was burning up and fast! I woke up around 2 hours later at 11. I was soaking wet with sweat. Good news though, fever was gone!. Or so i thought....Couldn't find it in me to get up, so i slept off in Ruban's room. I woke up around 9, and my head was swirling. You know that out-of-body experience people talk so often about, sure felt like i was having one at that time!! Shaun, my saviour came in next thing i knew, i was on my way back home with Ruban. Spent the next 8 days in hospital. I did go for a blood test on the very 1st day, it said, no dengue!! Took the doctor 4 days to figure out that it was in fact, dengue..I'm back home now though. Hand still sore from the drip. Curse you hot nurse!!!...Just wanna thank everyone who was there for me...i'll see whoever i see in college esok!!...

Educators: Where did we go wrong??
Couple of days ago, i flipped through the newspaper and read something that appalled and disgusted me. A teacher throwing degratory statements which were along racial lines to students that can barely think rationally?? I thought racism was behind us. Its been 39 years since that fateful day that marred Malaysia's name and stature on the world arena but it seems as if we have learned nothing from the mass killings and innocent loss of lives that has haunted us ever since. And coming from a teacher?? The very person that we look up to, expecting words of wisdom but instead be subjected to racial taunts and insults and at such a tender age?? These people are suppose be providers of knowledge, experts at moulding our country's next generation of leaders and catalysers that will propell our nation to greater heights and gain the long due recognition that has been alluding us thus far. Sadly, what have we come to?? The perpetrator has been let off the hook with nothing but....nothing really! All she got was a transfer, away from the problem that she caused in the first place. How is this a punishment?? This was clearly noted by Lim Guan Eng, the chief minister of Penang during a recent debate with a fellow politician. Where is the implementation of the seditious act?? Where is the control of speech? Don't we all have boundaries in ensuring a productive yet harmonious community?? I'm sure i speak for majority of our nation when i say that 'educator' should be taught a harsher lesson in humility. Let racism be a thing of the past!
